What does it cost to live in a group home?

An individual’s Social Security benefits cover most of a person’s expenses. Other costs, depending on a specific person’s needs, may be supplemented through DDD and federal funding.

How is a home placement made and decided upon? Do we have input?

Placement to any RICLAS home is made as part of a process which considers a variety of important factors. Included are geographic location, availability, compatibility and preferences of the individual and family. Family advocates and, of course, the individual person participate.
